2010 august, it's time to go......

For the one who has been in touch with us in the last 3
years, this is not a surprise. After waiting for
years, we are finally becoming .... a family!
The long adoption process
is almost at the end and 2 beautiful sisters
6 & 9yo are now waiting for mom & dad.
Already several weeks ago we got to know
about them but only few days ago we got the
appointment with the judge that will declare us ….a family.
What a change!.....
When we decided to adopt grown kids we spent sometime looking for the best
official organisation to work with and the destination country.
After some research we finally decided for Chile.
Another beautiful country that, once again, deserve to be discovered and where
kids are well kept and educated.
I have to say that even if 3 years seems a long time, this experience
turned to be ….just amazing!
In this 3 years we haven’t been passive. We have been studing about the country,
the culture, the language. We met several families who adopted or are now “on the way to”
and enrich ourselves with their experience.
We are now getting ready for the special day. How excited!!
You think and re-think how will be the meeting, what will happen but, suddenly, you realize
that there is no way... You need to go with the flow :)
As always happens, this comes when it shouldn’t.
Oh, Yeah!........... just in the middle of the “high season”.
For the one arriving during our absence…..Don’t worry!!
We knew this would happen one day and we selected nice people that will take care of you.
I know, some of you are coming to meet us and enjoy our “personal touch” but we are sure
they will do a good job.
We wanted to give you notice earlier but has been impossible. Lately we had difficulties
mailing because were attached by spammers and forced to change our email system
and address.

It’s important as well!
We will be leaving at the end of august (departure day is still unsure but is supposed
to be between aug 23th and 25th). We will be flying to Chile where we need to stay
for around two months.
A long journey to guarantee the kids, the court …and ourselves that the family
have a good startup.
Now, more than ever, we hope to see you back and share with you our happiness.
