Zagarolo by train

In Italy, travelling by train, is quite easy, cheap and comfortable.

To find also more informations regarding tickets and the net transportation system that connect Rome with its Province visit our webpage Metrebus

Being the main southern east gateway of Rome, Zagarolo is particularly well connected by train, by buses and by car (free and toll roads).

There are frequent trains from Termini (Rome Central train station). In about 30 minutes you will be welcomed at Il Colle degli Ulivi/Olivetreeehill.

Zagarolo, located just outside Rome, is on the route of trains with final destination to Cassino, Frosinone, Caserta or Colleferro.

If not travelling from the above destinations, to reach Zagarolo by train, you'll need to reach Termini Station (the Central train station in Rome).

Once there, you need to look for the digital departure display (not the printed schedule you'll find posted everywhere) and search for the above final destinations.

Check the departure track (BIN) and, once reached, look for the little display suited at the beginning of the track. There, will be possible to double check the train will stop in Zagarolo, how many stops on the way and the arrival time.

Because, few trains with the above final destinations will not stops in Zagarolo (10%), please make sure Zagarolo is mentioned on the small display at the beginning of the track or the train listed on the updated train timetable listed below.

Tickets are available at ticket office or automatic machines that you’ll find at the station but will be quicker and easier to buy them at any newspaper kiosks or bars you'll find at the station. In this case you’ll need to ask for a 40 Km. ticket. For more information regarding public transportation tickets visit our webpageregarding Metro e bus.

Pls note....

Departing from Rome, every hour (starting from 14,48), is running a fast train. In less than 25 min. you'll be back home.

Once decided which train you'll catch, please call or text us your departing time and we will come to pick you up at Zagarolo train station. In case of text, we always confirm receivement with "OK".  If you don’t receive it, please call (somehow we didn’t get it).

Enjoy your trip!!
