Zagarolo by airplaneIn Rome there are two main airports:
- Leonardo da Vinci (FCO) is the main airport. Used for National/International/Intercontinental and Charter flights, is located in Fiumicino (40 km. from Rome city center and 55km. from our B&B)
- G.P.Pastine (CIA) is the second largest airport. Used to be a military airport, nowday mainly used by European low cost companies, is located in Ciampino (15km. from Rome city center and 30km. from our B&B)
Arriving
to FCO (Fiumicino airport)As you leave pass through passport control, collect your bags and be subjected to the wary eyes of the customs inspectors, you come out through the doors into a big hall where drivers, friends and relatives are waiting for arriving people.
According to the way you intend to reach us, following you’ll find some info.
Using train - to reach us or Rome, as soon as you step in the above mentioned hall you’ll find signs. A Shuttle train is connecting the airport to Rome city center and viceversa. For further information about tickets, connections to/from FCO and Zagarolo, timetables, ect. follow this link
Using car – from the airport you need to follow the green sign to Rome and then to A1-Napoli (Naples) – exit San Cesareo. For further informations, click here. Joining our Pick up - we will wait you at the hall you’ll reach after
custom inspection. Please provide flight details as soon as available. Departing from FCO (Fiumicino airport)You are requested to check in 60/90 min. before departure time for national/european flights and 120/150 min. for the Intercontinental. Airport transfer available.
For security reason, since 2009, a new Terminal (T5) has been set for American and Israelian companies. If travelling by train, you can reach T5 with a free shuttle departure from T3 (5/10 min. ride). |
